How to Participate in the National Legal Aid Technology Report

What is the Interactive Tech Report?
In 2008, LSNTAP conducted a community-wide technology survey to showcase the software and hardware being used throughout the legal services community. The survey was divided into administrative and technical portions and NTAP received 56 responses for the technical survey and 42 for the admin survey. This interactive interface offers community members a way to:

Most importantly, though, the National Legal Aid Technology Report is an ongoing source of information about technology in the Legal Aid community.

We need YOU to participate in the information sharing!
For most participation, you'll have to login in to the site - just click on the "create an account" link next to the login at the top of the page. Fill in your username and email, click on the "create an account" button, wait for your confirmation email, and login.

There are five ways you can participate:

  1. Quick! Stop by the Product Ratings page to leave star ratings indicating your opinion of various products.

    Just mouse over the "Your Rating" function until you have the rating you want.

  2. Review a product that's already listed on the Product Ratings page (login required).
    • Find the product you want to review
    • Click on "Add new comment"
    • Type in your review
    • Click "Preview comment,"
    • Review your post
    • Click on "Post Content."

    Please note that your comment posts separately from your overall star rating, so you may want to leave both.

  3. Add a product to the Product Ratings page (login required).

    Is the product you were hoping to review missing? Click on the "add a new product" link here, or at the top of the Product Ratings page (login required). Then,

    • Type the product or vendor name into the Title bar
    • Choose a category for the product*
    • Preview, or Submit

    *If the right category isn't there, email eva AT lsntap.org and she'll add it for you.

  4. If you're an executive director or administrator or a knowledgeable techie, you can add data about your organization (login required)
